As you might know if you follow me on social media, I’ve just moved into a new apartment! I don’t have internet set up just yet, so this post was hastily thrown together from a few spare minutes of wi-fi. I’m really sorry I didn’t give any advance notice – I was still expecting to have my usual Monday post and Tuesday newsletter up this week, but you know, life gets in the way sometimes. I’m hoping to be back on Friday with another post, but in the meantime I thought I’d share a few little snippets of my new apartment! These are the decor pieces I’m most excited about right now.

My floral bedspread has made a comeback! I’m going with a pastel theme in my bedroom. This is from the Shabby Chic collection at Target (which is totally my aesthetic, by the way.)

This little lantern is from either Hobby Lobby or Michael’s – it was a gift so I’m not really sure, but it holds a tiny tea light candle!

I got this cute firefly pillow at a craft fair – the color scheme in my living room is bold colors like turquoise and mustard yellow.

And finally, the thing I’m most proud of – my rainbow bookshelf! This isn’t my entire collection of books – I have two more bookshelves in my bedroom, but they’re not as organized as this one. Looking at all the colors makes me so happy!

I can’t wait to be back on a more regular blogging schedule – I’m thinking about actually starting to do three posts a week instead of one or maybe two! We’ll see what happens, but for now, I’ll just be unpacking boxes until I get internet again. What have you been up to lately? Any exciting life events?
